  • West Feliciana Middle School will host an OPEN HOUSE on Thursday, August 31, 2017, from 5:30 - 7:00 PM. Parents will have an opportunity to meet the teachers and tour classrooms.
  • Our school will observe the solar eclipse on Monday, August 21st via livestream from NASA. For more information, click here.
  • Please note that our school system is changing to a new Student Information System (SIS) called OnCourse. The parent information site, called OnCourse Connect, is temporarily unavailable. Our technology department is working diligently to address this issue. Furthermore, we anticipate the release of a new West Fel App that will allow us to communicate with you in a more quickly and easily. Please check back often for updates, and thank you for your patience as we work to improve methods of communication with families.
  • The WFMS Cheerleaders will host a Back-to-School Dance on the evening of Friday, August 25th, from 7:00 - 9:30 PM. Entrance to the dance costs $7, concessions cost $1 each, and photos from the photo booth cost $5 each. Students must have paid at least $10 toward their school supply fee in order to attend. This dance is for WFMS students only.
  • The West Feliciana Education Foundation's annual Dodgeball Tournament will take place on Saturday, August 26th beginning at 4:00 PM. Come out and support the WFMS team!
  • All club applications for non-rotating clubs (WyldLife, 4H, SADD, Artistic Lettering, and Digital Media) are due no later than August 28th.

Welcome Back

The 2017-18 school year is off to a great start! Our incoming 6th grade class has made a smooth adjustment to middle school, and our returning 7th and 8th grade students have been model leaders. We had the opportunity to hear Jeff Yalden, the award winning author of BOOM, speak to our students on the second day of school. He was in incredible motivational speaker, and his message tied right in with the 7 Habits that we've been practicing as part of our LEAD initiative. He shared insight about the power of RESPECT, ATTITUDE, and CHOICES. He also taught us that we ALL need to TAKE TIME TO THINK!!
